Cnidaria Peptide Synthesis

Cnidaria, a diverse phylum of marine organisms, contains a remarkable variety of peptides with potential biomedical applications. These peptides, derived from various species of jellyfish, sea anemones, and corals, possess unique structural and functional properties. Many antineoplastic peptides have been isolated from cnidarians. Anthopleura anjunae antitumor peptides were obtained by enzymatically hydrolyzing the alkaline protease of the sea anemone Anthopleura anjunae. Three peptides isolated from coralline algae also had anticancer activity. Peptides AERQ, RDTQ and AGAPGG exhibit cytotoxicity against human cervical cancer (HeLa) cell lines. The peptides AERQ, RDTQ, and AGAPGG isolated from the coral Sarcophyton glaucum exhibited cytotoxicity against HeLa cell line.

At CD BioSciences, we specialize in the synthesis of Cnidaria peptides and offer cutting-edge solutions for their isolation, characterization, and production. With a deep understanding of Cnidaria peptides and their potential therapeutic applications, we have positioned ourselves as leaders in the field of peptide synthesis.
