Isolation of Marine Alkaloid Toxins

Although terrestrial plants are the focus of alkaloid research, marine organisms have gained more space and interest. A growing body of research has revealed the rich and diverse alkaloids found in marine organisms that could be explored as new medicines for human diseases. Marine alkaloid toxins are a class of nitrogen-containing organic compounds. Marine alkaloid toxins are mainly derived from secondary metabolic components of natural marine organisms and they are important biologically active alkaline organics. their structures are novel and unique, and their biological activities are extensive, such as anti-tumor, antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, anti-Alzheimer's disease and anti-osteoporosis, etc. Therefore, they are likely to become the leading compounds of antitumor, antiviral and antibacterial drugs, and have good medicinal prospects. Marine alkaloid toxins have attracted the attention of natural product chemists as well as synthetic chemists, biochemists, and pharmacologists because of their unique structures and broad biological activities. CD BioSciences provides a range of alkaloid synthesis, structural modification, isolation, biological activity evaluation services, as well as some professional services for specific industries.
