Seaweed Amino Acids Analysis

Seaweeds are considered a complete protein source because they contain all nine essential amino acids (EAAs) histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan and valine, which are essential for protein synthesis, tissue repair and nutrient absorption. In seaweed, EAAs account for almost half of the total amino acids, and their protein distribution is close to that of egg proteins. All three groups (green, brown, and red seaweed) contained similar amounts in the non-EAA case. Red seaweed appears to be a good source of protein, as it reaches 47% of its value. Therefore, seaweeds are a valuable source of protein not only because of their overall protein content, but also because of their amino acid composition. Service Request

In order to use the service, the user should fill out the analysis request form and send its signature to the technical director of the service. Additionally, an Excel sheet with a list of samples to be analyzed must be sent to the specified email address. The samples should be sent to the technical lead who will submit a report with the results to the user after analysis.
