Seagrass Organic Compost Production

Seagrass Organic Compost Production

Seagrass contains phytonutrients, including potassium (up to 12%), but is low in nitrogen and phosphate. It contains more than 60 trace elements, growth hormones, and other nutrients, and is especially rich in iodine and calcium. Seagrass has been used as a soil conditioner for centuries and is still used in gardens as mulch, liquid feed, and compost. Seagrass is a common ingredient in home composting in coastal areas. It acts as an activator to speed up the composting process. Seagrass is also commercially available in dry and liquid forms. CD BioSciences can provide customers with the service of producing seagrass compost that is free of physical contaminants, viable weed seeds, and pathogens, and is not treated with additives. We guarantee that seagrass compost is nature's traditional compost, an excellent peat-free soil conditioner. The fact that it comes from the open-air composting process (aerobic fermentation) is evidenced by the dark brown color, unique texture, and natural earthy smell of seagrass composting derives from the biological fermentation of marine plants.
