Seaweed Fertilizer Production

Seaweed fertilizer refers to a product made by scientific processing using seaweed in the ocean as raw material. Seaweed fertilizer contains a large amount of non-nitrogenous organic matter, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iodine, and more than 40 kinds of mineral elements and rich vitamins, as well as seaweed-specific seaweed polysaccharides, alginic acid, highly unsaturated fatty acids and a variety of natural Plant growth regulators can have beneficial effects on plant growth and soil improvement. These nutrients do not need to be artificially added and are inherent nutrients of seaweed. These natural ingredients and active substances play a crucial role in the use of seaweed products in the field. The application of seaweed fertilizers in agriculture has a long history, and it has the functions of improving soil physical properties, affecting rhizosphere microbial populations, promoting photosynthesis, and improving crop stress resistance. With the emergence of seaweed fertilizer products, seaweed fertilizers are increasingly valued and favored by people, and the production and research of seaweed fertilizers have gradually become a hot spot.

Our Seaweed Fertilizer Production Process

Generally, it can be divided into the chemical hydrolysis method (i.e., potassium hydroxide hydrolysis method), physical extraction method and biological fermentation method (i.e., enzymatic degradation method). We also extract biologically active substances from the wastes of the seaweed industry, and then scientifically formulate and produce fertilizers.

Advantages of Seaweed Fertilizer

  • Improve soil environment
  • Improve crop photosynthesis
  • Improve flowering and fruit set
  • Provide balanced crop nutrition
  • Help plants withstand environmental stress
  • Stimulate cell division and increases fruit size
  • Improve root growth

We Produce High Quality Seaweed for Seaweed Fertilizer

Seaweed Fertilizer Production
  • Ecklonia maxima
It can maintain high-speed growth in extremely cold seawater, and it is a good raw material for the production of high-quality seaweed fertilizer.
  • Ascophyllum nodosum
It is mostly produced on the coast of Norway and Iceland in the North Atlantic Ocean. It grows in a low temperature environment and is rich in protein and natural high-quality nutrients. It is a high-quality raw material for the preparation of feed and fertilizer.
  • Laminaria japonica aresch
Mainly distributed in the Kuril Islands, Sakhalin Island and Hokkaido in Japan, the Pacific Ocean and North Atlantic coast of the Americas
