Jellyfish Fertilizer Production

Marine-sourced organic fertilizers can partially replace other organic and mineral fertilizers to reduce environmental pollution and compensate for nutrient shortages in coastal areas. Global warming has had severe impacts on marine and terrestrial biomes, such as increasing the frequency and magnitude of jellyfish blooms, especially in some temperate regions. Jellyfish blooms are considered a nuisance in many coastal areas around the world. However, jellyfish can be harvested and transformed into new material, which will help reduce their numbers in the ocean. Jellyfish have potential insecticidal properties, and the protein venom of jellyfish has insecticidal activity against different plant pests. Jellyfish can be used as an alternative fertilizer. Because they contain essential macro and trace elements that are important to soil and plants. Dried jellyfish used as fertilizer can improve soil physical structure and bacterial community, possibly by increasing soil moisture and providing nutrients, thereby promoting the survival and growth of plant seedlings.

What is the Difference with NPK Fertilizer?

  • The fertilizers we produce are bio-jellyfish fertilizers.
  • NPK fertilizers are chemical fertilizers. Our fertilizers are very natural.
  • NPK fertilizers depend on macro elements.
